There is no specific formula for how to win in life but your chances of success will increase if you add up specific skills that have high value over a wide range of fields.

The math of success is not an exact science but it will put you within a ballpark range of success and the rest of the distance you have to cover with your mindset, courage, and perseverance.

Its impossible for us to study every subject in detail and read every book on every subject.

However when we narrow the fields of study then we start getting closer to our objective.

Our objective is simple: Winning in life and leaving a legacy of success on this planet.

What you learned in school has not prepared you how to be successful.

In school, they teach you how to be a robot.

They teach you how to be a drone that follows orders.

They don't want you to be an independent, powerful man that goes after what he wants in life.

For you to get what you want in life you need to arm yourself with knowledge.

That is your responsibility

So let's take a look at the most important areas of study that will greatly increase your chance of success in life.

How To Win In Life

study success

(1)Psychology

Psychology is number one on the list because you will need it in almost everything you do in life.

Psychology doesn't just let you understand other people and situations better.

It also gives you insight into your own mind and why you do the things you do in life.

It is impossible to read all the most in important books in psychology.

Read a few foundational books about the topic and you will be miles ahead of the pack.

Personal Development as a category is filled with psychology and other psychology-related topics.

You must study the Psychology of success.

marketing

(2)Persuasion,Marketing,Sales.

Persuasion and Marketing are closely related so I will discuss them here under one umbrella.

Being able to persuade others of your argument or benefit of your product is what drives the whole world economy.

Individuals and businesses around the globe are trying to influence you with their marketing message.

They are trying to persuade you to buy their products.

Persuasion can be used in all areas of life to get what you want.

Its a valuable and powerful skill to have and one that should be constantly improved.

You are selling yourself every day and persuading others of your value as an individual or a business.

When you go on a date you are using persuasion whether you are aware of it or not.

Every little thing you do, say, and gesture is part of a message that the world uses to judge your value.

Persuasion is the key to always be on the winning side of whatever you are doing.

You can use your persuasion skills in the marketing copy you write for your social media, blog or YouTube channel.

You can use your persuasion skills to win an election or get the promotion at work.

(3)Communication

Communication links up closely with marketing and persuasion.

But let's treat communication here as a subtopic of marketing and persuasion.

Communication is the way you use your words and your body to tell other people what you are thinking.

Many times we are communicating with our bodies without saying a word. In fact, most of the communication is done without saying a word.

Again learning how to communicate and understand body language will greatly improve your understanding of other people and how you can better influence the world around you.

The way you speak and use your body will either raise or lower your value, so the more knowledge you have on this topic the better.

(4)Accounting

Accounting is something that you should have a basic understanding in because you will need it even if you think you don't.

Even if you are not going into business you will need it to understand your own personal budget and investments.

If you want to figure out how to use your money better and how to invest, then accounting will help you.

Investing is another area where you need accounting.

Starting your own business is obviously an area where you need to have basic accounting skills.

I know you can hire people to take care of the accounting.

But to be able to understand your own finances or your business better you need basic accounting.

When you sit in a meeting with your accountant and investors you want to have a basic understanding of what they are talking about.

As a leader, you always want to have insider knowledge.

(5)Overcoming Shyness

Shyness is something that holds people back from success in many areas of their lives.

Many guys are shy to ask for what they want, shy to talk to the pretty girl at the coffee shop, shy to make that presentation that could land you a big contract, shy to make that sales call.

The good news about shyness is that it can be overcome, like most things it's a learned skill.

I Get that some people are more introverted than others than others but we all have some shyness in us.

You are missing out on a lot if you don't develop this part of yourself.

(6)Second language

Learn how to speak one other language.

Learning another language immediately raises your value in terms of being someone that has insight and understanding into other countries, cultures, and thinking.

Your marketability as an individual goes up with this added skill in your arsenal.

I suggest learning a language that is widely spoken and one that you have some interest in the country or culture.

For example, I can speak some Korean and Japanese since I lived in both countries and did Japanese martial arts since I was a kid.

Since I was interested in Japan I was eager to learn Japanese.

Japanese is spoken by a lot of people not just in Japan, but also in Brazil and the USA who has large Japanese communities.

Other good Choices is Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean or German. Another good reason could be your interest in a specific type of woman.

Maybe you like dating Russian women, then learning Russian could be a good choice since you are already motivated to learn.

(7)Technology (hobby level)

Many of us have computers and other electronic devices but we don't know half of the futures that it offers.

That means we have these potentially powerful devices but we don't know how to properly use them.

You don't have to know everything but figure out the basics and to be proficient in most programs.

This will give you more value in your own life and will give you a lot more value in a professional setting.

Having these skills can develop into a way to make money, for example web design.

I'ts easy to learn and pays good money.

Stop wondering how things work and figure them out.

public speaking

(8)Public speaking

Public speaking is one of the most feared things in the world.

There is something about walking into a room of people and starting to talk to them.

It's a powerful feeling when you feel the energy of hundreds of people focused on you.

When this happens you either get empowered or you get scared and freeze.

Which one are you?

If you can master the skill it will transform your confidence and lift your value since the demand for good public speaking is high.

If you think that its something that you don't want to do and rather avoid then its definitely something you have to do.

You can learn how to overcome the fear and get the skills necessary to become a good public speaker.

(9)Learn a Martial Art

You might be wondering why a martial art is one of the most important skills you can learn for success in life?

Well, martial arts has the obvious benefit of teaching you self-defense and improving your fitness.

But martial arts have other values that improve all other areas of your life.

It teaches you to focus
It teaches you to deal with one problem at a time
It teaches you to be aware
It teaches you self-discipline
It teaches you tactics
It teaches you how to persevere
It teaches you consistency and hard work
It teaches you to overcome problems
It teaches you about the reality of life and death.

Martial Arts is one of the most valuable things you can do.

Most martial arts will add value to your life.

I would suggest starting with one of the practical and foundational martial arts. This includes Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling , Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate.

(10)History

You don't need to be a history expert but you need to understand the basics of world history and why we ended up where we are now.

Having a basic understanding of world history will help you put to get a broad picture of how the world functions and why things happened the way they did.

A lot of what happens today can be better understood with a basic understanding of the past.

Conclusion

Learning is a lifelong process, however, the earlier you start the faster you will get results.

It's never too early or too late to start studying subjects you find intimidating.

You don't need to read the most complex academic text on all subjects.

For example with accounting, I read a few accounting for dummies books and that gave me a very good understanding of the basic principles of accounting.

So start today and add value to yourself.

Knowledge is power.

One last thing before I move on to the recommended reading list.

These 10 areas of study is a good foundation.

On top of that, there is a world of different fields of knowledge to go into.

Time is our biggest commodity so whenever you have time read and fill up your mind with more knowledge.

The more you know the more you will earn.
