It's easy to look good on Instagram or Facebook.
You can take your time and put up the perfect picture to create the perfect representation of your life.
You can put up the Youtube video about your “awesome life”, and tell everyone how you are going to change the world or start a company.
That's all nice, but what happens when the curtain goes down, and it's just you.
What happens when no one it watching?
See, it's easy to act like a success when you are on Instagram or YouTube for 5 minutes.
It looks great when some guy rents a Ferrari and takes a picture.
But what happens when no one is watching?
What really matters is your actions when no one is watching.

The thing is that it's not glamorous or fun a lot of times.

Suddenly you feel like stopping.
This time is probably the most critical time of becoming successful in anything.
There will be no encouragement or cheerleaders.
You have to take successful actions long before you become successful in “real life”.
You need to be a “success” when no one is watching, and no one cares.
Doing the right thing when no one is watching matters, it matters a lot.
That is the challenge.

The biggest problem I come across with a lot of guys who want to start a business is that they want the fame or success right now without the grind, without doing the work.
It might take a year, or it might take five years.
But there is no overnight success.

Your personal development is also a gradual process.
You are not going to become a better person if you don't make a conscious effort to become better.
