Why is success and achievement under attack?
Why is being poor Cool and getting rich is frowned upon?
In today's world, there is a weird mentality among people.
When someone is poor or broke he is immediately praised and consoled.
Nobody will question it or criticize the situation.
If there is a reaction then it's usually one where they look for someone to blame.
There is no personal responsibility.
I get it, bad things happen and sometimes you get placed in a bad situation and it wasn't your fault.
The mistake people make is not claiming responsibility.
Guess what happens when you take responsibility?
You get empowered because now you are in control.
Unfortunately for most people this never happens.
They don't take responsibility.
People will tell each other it's OK.
They will also say that you should “be grateful” for what you have.
I get it, people are poor for different reasons, and I'm not talking about the millions of people in India and Africa that are living in poverty.
I'm talking about the poor and broke people in the middle and lower classes in the west that think its OK to be poor.
They think it's OK to settle or get a welfare check from the government.
We live in a modern culture of victimhood and dependency.
People get high from being victims.
They have a dependency on the victim identity.
They enjoy being a victim so much that they create safe spaces for themselves and get offended.
Life Problems
Most of the problems we have in the world is not a financial problem.
It's a psychological one.
Most people have a fixed mindset.
They don't think its possible to change their reality.
Their whole mindset is based on fear and negativity.
Think about it.
When you talk about how broke you are nobody will blink.
But talk about how you want to get rich and make a lot of money and suddenly the swords come out.
Suddenly people will start questioning you.
They act like they are the “experts” in your life.
They think you should listen and take notes.
They will say things like,“Don't be crazy, you need a lot of money to start your own business”, or “You will never make it in that field it's too competitive.”
The classic line is, “We like you just the way you are, you don't need to get rich”.
As soon as you start making a move to change your condition people will suddenly care about how you live your life.
There is a stigma about rich people.
A lot of people think that rich people somehow cheated the system or they are scammers.
People like to think the worst of rich people.
The most dangerous thing about this “poor is cool mentality”, is that people think they are safe.
Millions of people think that staying in their middle or lower class jobs are safe.
They get their paycheck and take out a massive loan to buy a house.
The reality is that jobs are not guaranteed anymore.
The world is changing, you don't have any “job security” anymore.
Besides, if you think you are going to save your way to being rich you are mistaken.
You need to make your own money and you need to get rich.
The first thing you have to do is change your mindset about money and success.
You need to draw a line in the sand and say to yourself”I'm going to be rich”.
End of story.
Personal Responsibility
It is your responsibility to become rich.
When you are rich then the people around you can get rich.
Your community, city, state, country and even the world can be impacted by you becoming successful.
It all begins with you making a shift in the way you think about money.
To get your mindset right about the money you need to change your environment.
You can't spend most of your time with losers who just settle to get by.
This is toxic.
You need to surround yourself with people who want to be rich or who are rich.
Your job is one stream of income.
Now you need to build other streams of income on the side.
You also need to figure out how you are going to get to your first million.
How will you become a millionaire?
You need to do the math so it can become real.
Look at how much you need to make to get to the magic number.
One of the best things about money is the freedom it gives you.
It gives you the power to do what you want whenever you want.
For me becoming financially, independent was a massive motivation.
Time is our biggest commodity and working a crappy job until you retire and die is not my idea of fun.
Freedom is a valuable thing.
Becoming rich is not some pipe dream reserved for a special group of people.
You can make this happen if you stop listening to the naysayers and negativity in the world.
It is possible if you start believing that it is.
You need to ask yourself how bad you really want to live the life of your dreams?
If you feel a lot of pain right now and you are not where you want to be, then good.
I say good because you can use that pain to push and motivate you.
Pain is a very powerful tool if used correctly.
Use your pain to push forward and to create freedom.
The only thing you need to do is make a choice and start taking action.
Who Dares Wins.
Go out into the world and dare massively.
Don't just live out your life.
Play this game of life 150% and start winning on your terms.
Remember being rich is no guarantee of happiness.
But being poor is a 100% guarantee of unhappiness and misery.
Besides, its a lot more fun to figure out how to be happy when you are rich.
